he Placer County
Association of
Realtors held its
42nd annual Mas-
ters Club Celebration on
March 30 at Thunder Val-
ley Casino’s Pano Hall. This
event usually accommo-
dates 550 people at a sit-
down dinner, but after
receiving an unpreceden-
ted number of ticket re-
quests, this year’s event
was changed to an elegant
and exciting Gala that
accommodated over 675
members and guests.
The goal of the Masters
Club is to represent the top
10-20 percent of the Placer
County Association of
Realtors members. This
year 522 Masters Club
members qualified and
represented the top 17
percent of the Realtor
membership which totaled
3,052 at the close of 2016.
Each member was re-
quired to reach a qual-
ification amount set by the
Masters Club committee of
$4.5 Million over at least 8
transactions or 20 closed
transaction ends. The Mas-
ters Club is comprised of
the following classes; First
year members (83), Con-
tinuing members with 2-4
years in the club (156), Life
Members with 5-9 years in
the club (123) and Out-
standing Life Members
with 10+ years in the club
(118.)
The night’s theme, “Roll-
ing Out the Red Carpet”,
literally began with all
attendees walking into the
room on a rolled out red
carpet. Equipped with VIP
lanyards Masters Club
members were given gifts
which included a bag filled
with a Masters Club logo
business card holder and a
double pack of chocolate
dipped caramels beauti-
fully wrapped from Cali-
fornia Caramel Co.
All attendees enjoyed an
atmosphere of socializing,
a photo booth, heavy ap-
petizers, and a beautiful
display of desserts sur-
rounding a Masters Club
logo ice sculpture. During
the evening, the Masters of
